Important Notes

PLEASE NOTE: The main restaurant will be undergoing renovations, and all meals will be served in the Azima Restaurant located in the Askari Centre. The building renovations are ongoing and should be completed by 1st December 2024. Thereafter, the decor and finishings will start and should have the restaurant / reception completed by mid-January 2025.
Unless otherwise stated, all rates listed are based on a minimum 2 night stay. Surcharges may apply for a 1 night booking.
Rates quoted above are only valid for SA Residents. Special Discounted Rates for International Residents are available on request.

Single Accommodation Policy

Single accommodation rates are available on request. Please contact your Weekend Breaks consultant for a quote.

Child Policy

Children of all ages are welcome at African Hills Safari Lodge & Spa.
Children 0 – 3 years sharing with parents stay free of charge in a cot/crib.
Children 4 – 5 years sharing with parents stay free of charge (max 2 mattresses per deluxe room).
Children 6 – 11 years sharing with parents pay 50% of the adult sharing rate (max 2 mattresses per deluxe room).
Children 12 years and older will be charged the full adult sharing rate.
Please note children can only be accommodated in a deluxe room.

About African Hills Safari Lodge & Spa

Situated on the Plumari Private Reserve just an hour from Johannesburg or Pretoria. The Main Lodge overlooks the Elephant Dam.
African Hills Safari Lodge caters for romantic getaways, conferences, team building initiatives, training courses and weddings in both the main lodge and conference centre. Nature lovers and birding enthusiasts will find the experience most rewarding, while stressed city dwellers will leave feeling rejuvenated and well-rested.
