About Few and Far Luvhondo
When the founders of Few and Far Luvhondo first discovered the Soutpansberg Mountains, historically nicknamed the “Forgotten Mountains”, in 2020, they could not believe that such an extraordinarily vast area of incredible biodiversity was not under any form of significant protection.
The mountains are one of a few areas in Southern Africa that are home to species found nowhere else on earth. Yet, the mountains lacked formal protection and faced
devastating threats from mining companies. The founders, Sarah and Jacob Dusek, knew that they had discovered a very special place and knew they had to get involved.
Their original search for a simple bush getaway became a commitment to rewilding and the large-scale restoration of this precious ecosystem. To protect this extraordinary place will take a village, and so they invite you to join them on their mission to ensure this landscape is protected, restored and rewilded.
