About Orange Grove

Nestled in the heart of Robertson’s Valley of Wine and Rose, Orange Grove Farm is a luxurious lodge-style retreat that offers a secluded escape with magnificent views over the mountains and vineyards.

Just a two-hour drive from Cape Town, the working wine and olive farm has an elegant 200-year-old Manor House and six charming cottages with private plunge pools and verandas overlooking the vineyards, offering the ideal place to relax and rejuvenate.

Our luxurious self-catering cottages are named after the areas where the owner mined diamonds, and each has a unique story to tell. They combine comfort and beauty, offering a setting in which to linger and relax.

Each cottage can be serviced daily by our friendly staff, leaving you only to concentrate on unwinding and enjoying the magnificence of your surroundings. Surrounded by spectacular landscapes of natural rock formations, crystal clear waterfalls, and endemic fauna and flora in the foothills of Babbedasberg, the farm is a nature lover’s paradise and offers a wealth of outdoor activities from hiking and mountain biking to kloofing, bird-watching and nature drives.

ROOM TYPES

Mosesberg Cottage (sleeps 2)

This private oasis of comfort is situated high up on a ridge surrounded by an Olive grove and pristine fynbos. The cottage has magnificent 360-degree views of the mountains, olive groves and vineyards.

Fineview Cottage (sleeps 4 adults and 1 child)

FineView cottage has arguably the best views on the farm! From your veranda, you have uninterrupted views of the farm, stretching to the Langeberg mountains. The cottage has 3 bedrooms with 2 en-suite bathrooms. The single room is ideal for a child.

Buffelsbank Cottage (sleeps 4)

The cottage overlooks our vineyards and has wonderful views of the valley, mountains & indigenous garden. It has 2 bedrooms, both en-suite, one with bath and separate shower and the other with shower. 2 Separate braais give you a choice between views!

Longlands Cottage (sleeps 2 adults and 2 children)

Both spacious and cosy, this 2-bedroom cottage with en-suite bathrooms, creates a warm and inviting setting for the perfect country escape. The double-storey cottage has a top bedroom with two single beds ideal for children, and a king-size bed below.

Delportshoop Cottage (sleeps 4)

Situated high up on a ridge overlooking the farm dam, this cottage has magnificent 360-degree views of 2 valleys, mountains & fynbos. Both spacious and cosy, this 2-bedroom cottage with en-suite bathrooms & fireplaces creates a warm and inviting setting.

Wouterspan Lodge (sleeps 6)

This charming 3-bedroom house with en-suite bathrooms exudes warmth. Creamy and contrasting earth tones create a simple elegance, while the numerous windows capture the morning sun and beautiful mountain views, with a patio door opening onto the veranda.
